Subsequently, the child’s siblings, as well as grandparents, can also acquire citizenship, making this program a popular option for family immigration.

According to Law No. 346 "On Citizenship," a child born on the territory of Argentina automatically receives Argentine citizenship by the principle of jus soli (right of the soil), regardless of the parents’ citizenship. Parents can apply for an Argentine passport through a simplified procedure: after obtaining permanent residence (PR), they have the right to immediately apply for citizenship.
Immediately after the birth of the child, the newborn’s siblings, grandparents can apply for permanent residence (PR), and eventually Argentine citizenship. Minor siblings have the right to obtain citizenship through naturalization after turning 18.
Regardless of citizenship, economic situation, or age, foreigners have the right to give birth in public clinics in Argentina. Among private clinics, the following are recommended: Hospital Alemán, Sanatorio de la Trinidad Palermo, Clinic and Maternity Swiss Argentina, Sanatorio de los Arcos, Sanatorium Mater Dei, Sanatorio Finochietto, Sanatorio Güemes, and Otamendi. These clinics offer affordable prices and high standards of medical care.
The Argentine passport is comparable in strength to the Brazilian passport. Since Argentina is a member of the MERCOSUR economic union, holders of its passport can freely cross the borders of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Chile, and Ecuador without restrictions.
Argentine citizens can apply for Spanish citizenship after 2 years of legal residence in Spain, whereas the standard naturalization procedure usually takes about 10 years.
